Just when it seemed like the creators might struggle to deliver another unexpected twist, they manage to do so successfully. While there isn’t a central storyline, the series makes up for it with multiple interconnected events that will keep you engaged. This season focuses more on secondary characters, shifting away from Jitendra Kumar’s role and putting Bhushan, his wife Kranti Devi, Prahlad, Binod, Chandrakant Singh, and the local MLA in the spotlight.

The arrival of a new Secretary in Phulera marks the beginning of the season, as Abhishek Tripathi is abruptly replaced due to a transfer in the previous season. The intense opposition from Pradhan’s camp hinders the new Secretary from completing joining formalities, with Prahlad’s intimidating tactics exacerbating the situation and leading to Abhishek Tripathi’s return to Phulera. Meanwhile, Pradhan Ji and Manju Devi conspire to fraudulently allocate a flat under the PM Aawas Yojana scheme, prompting Bhushan and Binod to investigate suspicions of misconduct. Local MLA Chandrakishore Singh is imprisoned for a dog-killing incident but upon release, a peace agreement is brokered between him and Pradhan Ji. However, chaos erupts following the killing of a pigeon.
The transition of Panchayat Season 3 into an event-driven series presents both advantages and disadvantages. While those looking for a continuous storyline may be disappointed, new viewers can easily catch up with minimal effort. In the third season, the creators shine in depicting the setting, language, and atmosphere, resulting in a wealth of captivating content. The interactions between Bhushan and Binod steal the show, with their chemistry and Binod’s candid communication style proving especially enchanting. Prahlad’s character receives more depth, while figures like Jagmohan and his mother also step into the spotlight. The feud between Phulera residents and the local MLA is now fully exposed, with the screenplay skillfully rendering the scenes with a high level of realism.
Jitendra Kumar’s portrayal of Abhishek Tripathi has been outstanding, but in the third season, the character lacks depth and fails to offer any surprises. Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav continue to play crucial roles in the storyline. Chandan Roy impresses once more as Vikas, while Faisal Malik’s expanded role as Prahlad enhances the viewing experience. Durgesh Kumar as Bhushan and Ashok Pathak as Binod once again steal the show with their exceptional performances. The dialogue writers deserve praise for crafting authentic lines for Binod’s character, which were delivered flawlessly.
