Munjya Box Office Phenomenon Rakes in Massive Day 2 Collections!

Munjya Box Office :The film Munjya Budget, featuring Sharvari and Abhay Verma, has had a successful beginning with promising Day 2 box office collections worldwide, supported by attractive offers that are contributing to its strong opening.

Early estimates indicate that the movie raked in 6.75 crore nett on its second day in India, bringing its total earnings to approximately 10.75 crore nett. On Saturday, the film had a Hindi occupancy rate of around 30.99 percent overall.

Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Amar Kaushik collaborated to produce the film, which achieved record-breaking opening day numbers. Despite lacking A-list actors, the film’s success highlights the impact of a compelling narrative and advanced CGI technology. In a press release, it was stated that Munjya has shocked the industry with its performance, paving the way for an impressive box office journey.

Expressing happiness over the audience’s response to the film, Sharvari had said, as quoted by news agency ANI, “I’m thrilled to see the outstanding start that Munjya has received at the box office. We have made this film with a lot of love, passion and hard work and I have been praying ever since that Munjya becomes a huge hit. It is a film that pushed me to do something remarkably different so early on in my career, and I have to thank my producer, Dinesh Vijan, and my director, Aditya Sarpotdar, for his belief in me to pull off this role.”

Sharvari, Mona Singh, Abhay Verma, and Sathyaraj headline the cast of the movie Munjya, which premiered in cinemas on Friday. Taking place in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra, Munjya delves into the tale of the legendary creature named after this ancient figure from Indian folklore and cultural heritage.

The creature in the movie causes chaos in Bittu’s life, portrayed by Abhay Verma known for his role in The Family Man. Mona takes on the role of Pummy, a single mother who is extremely protective of Bittu. Drawing inspiration from Marathi folklore, the film is said to be part of Maddock Films’ horror comedy series, alongside Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022).
